Birthday Week Extravaganza!

Yes, People, you heard it here first. I will be turning 30 at the end of this week. Yikes. As the card my older sister sent me this week states: Thirty. It's all a big joke until it happens to you. Ah, well, not to fear. I have decided to turn my birthday into a week long affair of pampering myself as if it were my wedding day.

Monday: Well, nothing really. Just gearing up for the week, and recovering from the weekend.

Tuesday: Last minute shopping to complete the new outfit. Also need to stop by Holly's for shoes. Hmmm...Donhollironi - let me know of a "safe" time to do that!

Wednesday: I am treating myself to a facial at a swanky Saratoga spa. (Alright, not really treating myself - a student gave me a gift certificate at the end of last year). Also getting the brows touched up.

Thursday: Putting myself in the party mood. Our Staff Christmas Party at the posh Silver Creek Winery. (Yes, I know it's well past Christmas, but we won it on the radio.) The Dirt Bike Kid will be accompanying me to this event. Should be an interesting evening.

Friday: Magic Tan. Yes, one of those spray on things. Hopefully this will not be a Ross on Friends experience, but if it is it only proves my assertion that my life is a sitcom.

Saturday: The Big Day. My two best girls are throwing me a big ole party, fancy style. To prepare, I have a manicure/pedicure at 10, hair at 12, and makeup at 3. And a hot new dress. (Told you - like my wedding day) Celebrating in style. Hope to see you all there!!
