Grandmotherly Types

I have a woman who volunteers in my classroom two days a week, reading with students one on one. She is a senior citizen from the community. This is the fourth year she has worked for me. She is the typical grandmotherly type - little, sweet, always smiling. She absolutely loves the kids and they adore her. The best part - she bakes for us. She bring in homemade cookies, and they are the best I have ever had, hands down. Chocolate chip, gingersnaps, chocolate chocolate, peanut butter, you name it. There is just something about her that allways gives me a warm fuzzy.

Maybe it is that she bakes extras - I am munching on her sugar cookies right now. Heaven, I tell ya.
