Somebody's Watching Me...

A few strange coincidences have occured lately that have brought me to a stunning conclusion. Before I get to that, I will catch you up:

*Jim writes a post honoring his man Lionel.

*I catch Lionel on Oprah (a rerun from last Fall) which inspires me to write a post myself and resume listening to Lionel CD's.

*Britney Murphy appears on Jay Leno and tells of consistently running into Lionel Richie while she promotes her movies in Europe. She makes the statement, "I feel like Lionel Richie is my guardian angel."

*The following evening Nicole Richie appears on Jay Leno.

I start thinking how strange it is that Lionel keeps popping into my life after all these years, and then I suddenly realize why. I am sure you all remember the film 'Oh, God' with George Burns. In it, George enlists the help of John Denver to bring God back into people's lives. Yep, you've got it. Lionel is asking me - yes, little old me - to help bring his music back to the people.

So, therefore, I begin my campaign here with my fellow bloggers, and I ask all of you to pass the message along: Long live Lionel.
