Reflections

This summer has been amazing for me, and I have felt a transformation. I took the time to tool around and do what I wanted without worrying about anything. I spent time with my amazing friends, I ran, I read, I chilled...and I healed.

The past couple of weeks specifically I have felt myself return to the old me, the person I was three or four years ago: happy, energetic, excitied, ready to go. I feel rejuvinated. I went to work and people told me I was like a whole new person.

And I am - ready to move forward and put the past completely behind me. Funny how these things work: as soon as I come to this realization the landlord calls and wants to raise the rent a little. I have to look at this as God's way of saying it is time to move on completely, a true fresh start. (And Jim's way - who told me last weekend it was time to move)

And so as The Summer of Stacy comes to a close, I take a deep breath and smile. Turning 30 - being 30 - is the most wonderful time of my life.
