Satisfaction (no pun intended)

So Claire has informed me that my German EX-boyfriend will most likely NOT be joining us first in Vegas and then at a family wedding in October. While this news DOES bring me some disappointment, it also brings me some joy, for the following reasons:

* There will be no snickering behind my back (or, let's face it - right in my face) every time I speak a word to him.

* It will take the wind right out of everyone's sails with regards to the constant teasing that I have endured for the last 3 months.

* No one can threaten to tell Bud and Ingrid.

* Ingrid will never know how someone was plotting to make me a cousin in law.

* Maybe I will just have to hang with Paul (hee hee).
