I Can Smell It In The Air...

I have spent the majority of the last month drunk, and I am not sure why. I just figured it out:

* I have now finished all the requirements for my MA program. I graduate next weekend. Two years of Hell, a lot of money, and a shitload of pain and effort. DONE.

* Last night was Open House. Which means that although there are still 14 days left of school, I am done teaching for the year. It's all bullshit from here on out.

So bearing that mind, I am apparently getting a headstart on my summer. As Kelly and I were walking in with hangovers this morning (remember, it WAS Open House last night) , Kelly looked at me and said, "I am so happy it is almost summer and we can start drinking for real." Awesome.
