That's the Best Offer I've Had in Awhile...

Tomorrow is our luncheon for all the volunteers at our school. We have to feed about 270 people. As I am on the Social Committee (big surprise there) I had a few stops to make today. First I had to go to the bakery and pick up the bread. Next, I had to stop at Safeway, where I purchased 15 bottles of 7 UP, 15 bottles of that crappy Tampico punch, and two bags of ice. Cruising through the store with this ridiculous load in my basket, I heard all of the stupid comments "someone's thirsty" and things of the like. I roll in line behind an old man, who has about the same number of bottles as me...except they are all LIQUOR.

He peruses my basket, then looks at me and says, " Yours looks a lot healthier than mine."

I look at his loot and reply, " Yeah, but yours looks like more fun."

He looks at me, winks, and says, " It could be."
